How MLM are NOT evil, and why they seem to be

MLM’s are not evil, just most people promoting them are misguided! (And not very successful.)

Network Marketing – also known as Multi Level Marketing is a method of doing business where the people who use the product being sold recruit other people to also use and sell the product.

The problem is that most “distributors” (a standard term for people involved in network marketing) don’t really understand. They try and “Sell” instead of Live!

The way to success in network marketing is simple:

  1. Be sure you are promoting a company that you would be passionately using and recommending the product even if there were no financial rewards for you.(This is why I LOVE doTERRA Essential Oils! Their effectiveness and purity are incredible! I became a fan of essential oils years ago from another source, and doTERRA blows them away in quality)
  2. Don’t try and SELL anything. Simply take action to make sure you tell your story several times a day! One of the easiest ways to do this is to have your story written down so you know it, and then engage people in conversation. A friendly conversation includes “so, what do you do?” After they tell you, they ALWAYS ask, “and what do YOU do” which is when you tell them. Your goal is simply to find out if they are interested. Some will be, some won’t be, and that is ok! You are not trying to sell anything – you are simply trying to expose your story to the most people possible so that those who ARE interested find you.(My story is below.)
  3. Submerge yourself in the company. Attend the trainings and meetings every time they are presented. The more you hear (repetition) the easier it is for you to talk about it.

And that is it! Doing those three things, and teaching the people you sponsor to do those three things will ensure your success.

Now here is my story. My 30 second explanation the defines both the product and the opportunity. Write down your own and always be improving it!

My name is Steve Oliphant. I have worked most of my life with computers as a Network Engineer and a Software Developer.

A few years ago I discovered Essential Oils such as Lavender and Peppermint and all the health benefits that come from using them instead of drugs. Using essential oils has turned my health and the health of my family around.

The only source I knew of for high quality, additive free and chemical free essential oils was a network marketing company called Young Living. The oils you can buy from Walmart and even health food stores are extracted using chemicals and are not pure. Most even have warnings on them that they are NOT for consumption or USE ON THE SKIN! (The skin easily absorbs essential oils into your body.)

Then I discovered doTERRA. Like Young Living, they are a network marketing company. The essential oils they sell are of even higher purity than Young Living’s. I read their claims and then did my own research to verify this.(I tested the effectiveness of Young Living’s Lavender oil and doTERRA’s lavender oil side by side. Multiple times with multiple bottles. DoTERRA consistently beats Young Living. Before I discovered doTERRA, Young Living had always beat any other brand.

And doTERRA actually has a viable marketing plan that just works. They pay fast start bonus and have a “Power of 3” team bonus plan that can get you a decent paycheck in the first month.

Bottom line, the number one rule, where you have to be passionate about the product and the company and would use it and recommend it even if you were not getting financial reward definitely applies to doTERRA essential oils.

And – because I believe in them, sell them, and want to improve the life of anyone who wants to let me – if you are the least bit interested in doTERRA essential oils, or a network marketing company that has a product you can really believe in, visit http://bizopreview.com/doTERRA/ and fill out the form for more information.

You can Buy Essential Oils without having anything to do with the Network Marketing side. Just go here and then click on “Shop for Products”.

Thanks,

Steve Oliphant
